Garage Gate Closure
The Executive Committee are aware of an issue where the gate does not open intermittently. ACT Doorland will be visiting to investigate the issue, and in the interim we will keep the gate locked open to enable egress.
Garage Gate Operation
Please do not block the sensor for the garage gate to keep it open. While it’s convenient to do so for removalists etc., there have been instances of the item used to block the sensor falling into the mechanism, which is expensive to fix. It also presents a security issue. Please provide whoever is using the gate with a remote temporarily so that they can get in and out as required.
Bin Area Enclosure
To open the gate to enter the bin enclosure, press ‘Clear’, then ‘8092’. Please always close the gate behind you, so that residents from other complexes cannot access our bin area.
A reminder as well to please not leave anything in the bin area that does not fit in the bins, such as furniture or excessive cardboard. The garbage collectors will not take anything other than general household waste that is placed in the bins, and as a result the Owners Corporation have to pay for anything left there to be removed - meaning that all 38 owners of apartments in the complex contribute to the cost of removing rubbish left by 1 resident. If you have bulky waste to remove, please take it to the tip, or arrange for a collection via https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/recycling-and-waste/collection/bulky-waste-collection.

Complex By-Laws & House Rules
As is the case with all apartment complexes in Australia, there are a set of by-laws and house rules that underpin how our complex operates. For the general well-being of the residents and to ensure that all enjoy a maximum of convenience, comfort and privacy, it is necessary to have some rules. These rules are intended to keep annoyance to a minimum and to provide guidelines for residents and their guests, and it’s important that everyone that lives in the complex are aware of these.
